kitchen, without being invited.

dish. Don’t touch any food with your left hand because it is used to
wash yourself. Moroccans eat with 3 fingers of their right hand; they
will tell you that only the devil eats with one finger, the prophets
with two, the believers with 3 and the gluttonous with 5.

Try to
avoid any signs of affection; but don’t be surprised by signs of
affection between people of the same sex (e.g: two men holding hands).

Accepting an invitation to drink tea would mean having at least 3
glasses; after that you can refuse without being impolite.

Be
careful in certain conversations on politics, religion and the King;
these are almost taboo subjects.

During
Ramadan, respect the period of fasting: avoid drinking, eating or
smoking openly.

The
dress code should be discrete. Long sleeves, trousers and bermuda shorts
should be worn instead of singlets and shorts.
